About the Artist

For the past ten years Michelle has been devoted to art, primarily two dimensional forms, in painting, drawing, and mixed media. Some of her work is figurative and some completely abstract. All of her art is personal and referential to the human experience. Michelle’s work exists in private collections throughout Canada, Germany and the USA.

From her studio in Victoria, B.C. Canada, Michelle teaches art to children, youths and adults. She believes it is imperative that people of all ages have a creative outlet that they can call their own, where there is no competition with others. She finds her students of all ages to be a constant source of inspiration for all of her artistic endeavors.

“Working with memories both visceral and cerebral, i am attempting to create works of art that redefine yet ground my own sense of reality. My work is personal. It is experience redefined as two-dimensional form.”
